Position: Billing Engineer – Finishing Works

Location: As per Project Requirement

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Engineer with experience in finishing works, including Italian marble, granite, tiles, skirting, dado, staircase, and allied finishing activities. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent billing and documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit client RA bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills.

- Measure work executed on-site and verify quantities as per drawings and BOQ.

- Prepare quantity take-offs from AutoCAD drawings.

- Maintain billing records, work progress reports, and measurement sheets.

- Track work orders, BOQs, rate analysis, variations, and extra item approvals.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and site engineers for billing approvals.

- Prepare reconciliation statements for executed quantities and certified bills.

- Maintain proper documentation for invoices, work orders, measurement books, and correspondence.

- Monitor billing status, payment follow-ups, and outstanding receivables.

- Assist in preparing project MIS reports and cost-control reports.

- Support planning and coordination to ensure timely billing and smooth project execution.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data management, reporting).

- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD for quantity extraction and drawing interpretation.

- Strong understanding of BOQ, estimation, quantity surveying, and billing procedures.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong client handling and coordination abilities.

- Good documentation, record-keeping, and file management skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet billing deadlines.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and basic project reporting.

- Granite Works

- Tile Installation (Floor & Wall)

- Skirting & Dado Works

- Staircase Stone Works

- Adhesives, Grouts, and Finishing Materials

- Reading architectural and finishing drawings

- Quality standards and measurement methods for finishing works

Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in billing for finishing works.

- Experience with reputed builders or finishing contractors will be preferred.

- Professional attitude with excellent coordination skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Willingness to visit sites and coordinate with project teams.
