The role in one line
We’re hiring a paid media operator who treats every ad dollar like their own money, thinks in ROI before creative, and can confidently run and be accountable for large monthly ad budgets across Meta and Google.
Who we’re looking forYou’re not just someone who runs ads. You understand the entire performance engine: the offer, the funnel, the tracking, the creative, and the numbers that tie it all together. You’ve managed serious spend, you’ve owned the results, and you can walk into a client account and know within minutes whether the money is working.
You get excited by a dashboard, not intimidated by one.
What you’ll own Paid media (the core)
• Plan, launch, scale and optimise campaigns across Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube)
• Own budget pacing, bidding strategy, audience structure and creative testing frameworks
• Manage large monthly ad budgets with a relentless focus on ROAS, CPA and payback scaling what works and cutting what doesn’t, fast
Tracking & measurement (non-negotiable)
• Set up and validate Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion tracking end to end
• Configure and troubleshoot the Meta Pixel + Conversions API (CAPI) for accurate, deduplicated event tracking
• Build clean, trustworthy attribution so every reported number can survive scrutiny
Content & social
• Direct and contribute to ad creative and content that actually converts (hooks, angles, offers not just “pretty” posts)
• Manage and grow social handles as part of the wider performance strategy
Reporting (this is a big one)
• Produce daily spend/pacing checks and weekly performance reports across all active accounts
• Translate raw ad data into clear, decision-ready insights for clients and internal leadership not screenshots, but “here’s what’s happening, here’s why, here’s what we’re doing about it”
What you must bring
• Demonstrable experience managing large paid media budgets (be ready to tell us the biggest monthly spend you’ve personally owned)
• Deep, hands-on fluency in both Meta Ads and Google Ads not one or the other
• Ability to set up tracking yourself (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel/CAPI) without waiting on a developer
• A genuine command of the metrics: ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, CVR, MER, blended CAC and the judgement to know which one matters when
• Strong reporting and communication skills; you can defend your numbers and explain them simply
• An owner’s mindset: proactive, accountable, and comfortable being measured on outcomes
Nice to have
• Agency background (managing multiple accounts/clients at once)
• Experience with LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or other channels
• Comfort using AI tools to move faster on creative, analysis and reporting
• Landing page / CRO instincts
This role is not for you if
• You’ve only ever managed small budgets and are hoping to “learn on the job” with big ones
• You rely on someone else to set up your tracking
• You can run ads but can’t explain the ROI story behind them
• Reporting feels like a chore rather than the scoreboard
