Job Description
Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that mechanical components, products, and manufacturing processes meet quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications.
They work closely with design, production, suppliers, and customers to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous
Perform inspections of mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products.
Analyze product defects and identify root causes using quality tools.
Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances (GD&T).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other applicable quality standards.
Perform supplier quality evaluations and audits.
Use statistical tools such as SPC, MSA, and process capability studies.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Monitor quality KPIs and prepare management reports.
