Quality Engineer

Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for all civil and structural works. Inspect and monitor activities such as excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, and concreting. Ensure quality compliance as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Conduct material inspections including cement, steel, aggregates, and concrete. Perform and monitor site tests such as slump test, cube casting, and curing checks. Review method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions. Maintain QA/QC records including inspection reports, test reports, and checklists. Coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals. Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials. Conduct regular site quality audits and inspections. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at site. Submit daily/weekly quality reports to the Project Manager.

A bachelor / diploma degree in civil engineering or a related field. Past experience in QA/QC for civil and structural construction works. Strong knowledge of construction materials, concreting, reinforcement, formwork, and structural execution practices. Thorough understanding of applicable codes and standards. Experience in inspection procedures, testing methods (cube testing, slump test, etc.) Proficient in QA/QC documentation, checklists, and reporting systems. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good coordination and communication skills with site engineers, consultants, and contractors. Basic knowledge of MS Office. Awareness of site safety standards and practices.
