Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Department: Sales & Revenue Operations

Reporting To: Head of Sales / Business Director

Role Mandate

Own revenue delivery. Build, drive, and outperform sales targets by leading from the front. This role is about pipeline velocity, conversion efficiency, and predictable growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute the sales strategy aligned with quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage the sales team to consistently exceed KPIs.
  • Own the end-to-end sales funnel: lead qualification, closure, and post-sale handover.
  • Drive aggressive market penetration through outbound, partnerships, and upsell motions.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales dashboards; course-correct in real time.
  • Enforce sales discipline: CRM hygiene, follow-up rigor, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead quality and ROI on campaigns.
  • Negotiate high-value deals and close strategic accounts personally when required.
  • Build a high-performance culture—results over excuses.

  • Revenue achievement vs target
  • Conversion ratio (lead → deal)
  • Average deal size & sales cycle length
  • Team productivity and attrition
  • Forecast accuracy

Required Skills & Competencies

  • B2B/B2C sales leadership with measurable revenue wins
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling capability
  • Data-driven decision making; zero tolerance for guesswork
  • Ability to scale teams and processes under pressure
  • CRM proficiency and pipeline management expertise


Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3–7 years of progressive sales experience, with team handling exposure
  • Experience in high-volume or high-ticket sales environments preferred
