Study Abroad Counselor

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Study Abroad Counsellor to join our growing overseas education team. In this role, you will be guiding ambitious students through their international education journey. If you possess excellent communication skills, a passion for student success, and a track record of meeting targets, we want to hear from you.

Candidate Requirements

2 to 5 years of proven experience in international student counseling, overseas education admissions, or educational sales.

Strong communication skill and fluent english is required. Soft spoken with pleasant personality.

Self driven and dedicated to work.

Skilled interpersonal relationships, able to listen, able to be directive, willingness to learn and able to demonstrate patience and tolerance

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling: Assess students' educational backgrounds, interests, and financial capabilities to recommend suitable courses, universities, and study destinations.
• Application Management: Guide students through the entire application process, including editing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), letters of recommendation, and ensuring all documents meet university guidelines.
• Visa Assistance: Support candidates with visa applications, financial documentation, mock interviews, and submission guidelines.
• University Relations: Coordinate with international university representatives and partner institutions to stay updated on admission criteria, scholarships, and course changes
• Lead Conversion & Tracking: Manage prospective student inquiries (via calls, walk-ins, and emails), track the status of applications, and maintain accurate records in the company's database
• Participate in regular seminars/webinar to develop knowledge about overseas university programs, admission requirements, visa rules etc. 
• Relationship Management: Maintain consistent follow-ups with parents and students; build strong rapport to drive organic referrals.
