Position Overview

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial health. The role involves bookkeeping, reconciliations, taxation, and financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage bank reconciliations.

Monitor company expenses and budgets.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, GST, TDS, and income tax filings.

Assist with internal and external audits.

Manage payroll processing and related statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc., if applicable).

Support financial forecasting and cash flow management.

Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/CA/ICWA preferred).

Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).

Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
