AIM Engineer

Major Responsibilities

• Capable to understand Isometric drawing and perform data collection for TML’s in TML template for already identified and marked TML’s on isometric drawing.
• Capable to enter data i.e., Mechanical as well as process data Equipment’s and Piping in RBI template/software. (Equipment here refers to pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, Air fin coolers, storage tanks, safety valves, Mounded bullets, bullets, heaters, boilers etc. Piping here refers to large and small-bore piping, Dead Ends, Injection points, Mixing Points, etc.)
• Knowledge on refinery damage mechanisms and capable to identify corrosion loops on PFD and PID level.
• Creation of equipment master list, unit master list in RBI template/software.
• To Prepare RBI Components/Circuitization/Corrosion Loop marking in P&ID as per instruction by client.
• Entry of history card, inspection observations & entry of NDT records of each inspection and assigning inspection confidence against respective RBI components.
• Prepare Line list Corrosion Loop wise from P&ID for RBI.
• Liaison with relevant department engineers and leads at client site for data collection for updating of RBI templates.
• Prepare AutoCADD drawings as and when required.
• Shall be carryout all necessary documentation. All drawings, Isometrics shall be maintained in a computerized folder in an indexed manner for easy retrieval of data. (Storage location will be given by client)
• Basic Knowledge on visual inspection and API & ASME codes is preferable.
• Knowledge of corrosion monitoring technique & non-destructive inspection technique.
• Effective communication skills (written, oral and computer)
• For data entry jobs the Senior Engineer will provide the required guidance initially.

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                       
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.    
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects.

Ø Qualification &Technical Knowledge

 

• B.E / B.Tech Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical
• API 580 or Any other API certification is prefereable
• ASNT Level 2
• AutoCADD experience is preferably
• Knowledge in operation of MS-Office specifically MS-excel and Microsoft Visio  should competent enough to read Engineering Drawings and making of field hand isometrics

 

• Experience:

• Minimum 2 year of experience or Diploma (Mechanical/ metallurgical) with 3 years of working experience in engineering field.
• Knowledge of RBI and damage mechanisms is vital for the role.
• Capable to review data related to Vessel, P&ID related data, Isometrics etc.

• Good communication and presentation skills.
