About ICA
As one of fastest growing practice in DAS, Infrastructure and Climate Advisory (ICA) team at KGS invites like-minded professionals to help us drive progress and change. At KGS ICA practice, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist public and private sector organizations involved in infrastructure to deliver desired outcomes, for society and businesses. We are the Centre of Excellence for KPMG’s Global practices, helping our clients to develop better understanding of the evolving policy and regulatory environment, business and commercial risks, as well as providing commercial and strategic advice on complex infrastructure and capital projects. You will work on a wide range of infrastructure sectors including transportation, digital and social infrastructure (education, healthcare), with diverse clientage a diverse range of clientele such as public sector entities, infrastructure owners, project developers, large corporates, contractors, equity investors, and financers.
The role will be based out of KPMG’s Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai offices and liaise cross-functionally with leaders across the business to drive internal and external engagement.

•Lead and support digital and data‑driven transformation initiatives across capital projects, infrastructure, energy, and allied sectors.•Design and deliver end‑to‑end analytics and reporting solutions, covering data ingestion, transformation, modelling, visualization, and automation.•Define digital operating models, governance frameworks, and controls, including PMO / TMO analytics, stage‑gate governance, and portfolio reporting.•Translate business and program objectives into data requirements, KPIs, dashboards, and AI‑enabled insights.•Drive data pipeline architecture (SQL/SAP/ERP ingestion, warehousing, semantic modelling) ensuring scalability, accuracy, and governance.•Develop and maintain enterprise dashboards and control towers (Power BI / Fabric) to support executive decision‑making.•Support AI and advanced analytics use cases, including forecasting, predictive insights, anomaly detection, and decision support.•Work closely with engineering, data science, UX, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated digital solutions.•Contribute to solution design, proposals, and bids, bringing analytics, automation, and AI‑led perspectives to win work.•Support adoption through change management, training, and documentation, ensuring sustained business value.•Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standards across all analytics solutions.Key behavioral attributes/requirements

Data & Analytics
•Strong understanding of end‑to‑end data pipelines: Data ingestion (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, SAP/ERP extracts), Data transformation and modelling, Warehousing / Lakehouse concepts•Hands‑on experience with Power BI, including Power Query transformations, Data modelling and relationships, DAX (intermediate level or higher), Dashboard design and performance optimization•Proficiency in SQL for querying, transformation, and validation.•Experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure analytics ecosystem (Lakehouse, Dataflows, semantic models) is highly desirable.•Understanding of data quality, reconciliation, governance, and documentation.Automation & Low‑Code
•Working knowledge of Power Platform: Power Apps (app design and integration), Power Automate (workflow automation)•Ability to automate manual reporting and operational processes.AI & Advanced Analytics
•Solid conceptual and practical understanding of AI and machine learning use cases, including: Forecasting and predictive analytics, Trend and variance analysis, AI‑assisted decision support and insights•Experience collaborating with data science teams or implementing AI‑enabled analytics solutions.•Basic proficiency in Python for analytics or AI is an advantage.Digital Transformation & Consulting
•Experience in: Digital enablement of PMO/TMO or enterprise reporting, Governance frameworks, stage‑gate controls, and performance metrics, Process re‑engineering using data and automation•Ability to conduct as‑is / to‑be analysis, identify inefficiencies, and recommend technology‑led solutions.•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a consulting environment.Educational qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Computer Science, Metallurgy, Electrical, or related discipline).•MBA / Postgraduate degree in Management, Analytics, Strategy, Digital Transformation, or Construction/Infrastructure Management (preferred).•Relevant certifications preferred but not mandatory:Microsoft (Power BI, Fabric, Power Platform, Azure, DP‑600/700, PL‑300)PMP / CAPM / Agile / Product ManagementData Analytics / AI FundamentalsPrior Experience
•5-8 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, analytics, consulting, or enterprise program delivery.•Experience in at least one of the following: (1) Management / Technology / Strategy Consulting (2) Capital Projects, Infrastructure, Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Engineering & Construction (3) Analytics, Data Engineering, BI, or Automation roles•Proven experience delivering analytics‑led transformation initiatives within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.Exposure to enterprise platforms and systems (ERP, PMIS, project controls, finance or operational systems).Experience Level
