Area Sales Executive (Patna)

 

Position:  Area Sales Executive  

Location: Patna

Business: ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, India, Yale Retail

Reports to: Zonal Manager 

 

Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an energetic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager for its Yale Retail business in Patna, responsible for driving business growth in Patna and neighboring markets through retail channel partners. The role will involve managing retail sales operations, building channel strength, driving revenue, ensuring timely collections, and developing key influence networks in the region.

 

Roles & Responsibility

  • Deliver the Revenue objectives for Retail business as per plan.
  • Set up and manage proper distribution channel and review distribution performance
  • Build and manage the demand generation for all product categories
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding.
  • Formulating promotional activities as a part of brand building
  • Building relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and end customers
  • Provide product knowledge to all stakeholders of channel partners
  • Responsible for Primary/secondary sales
  • Conduct continuous market analysis and support Zonal / Regional Manager for forecasts and budgeting

 

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Have functional knowledge of retail business in building material industry  
  • Negotiate skills

  • Strong channel management skills.
  • Should maintain time discipline and strong work ethic
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • Should be responsive, organized and energetic
  • Possesses a high level of integrity and ownership of responsibilities
  • Shows high drive for results and execution excellence. Follows up with stakeholders till the result is achieved 
  • Develops partnerships, keeps stakeholders updated on progress of projects and activities on time
  • Proficiency in MS excel and power point

 

Qualification Criteria:

 

  • Any Graduate. MBA Preferred.
  • 3-4 years previous total experience in retail sales, Hardware Industry.

 

Travel extensively in the assigned territory to generate business.
