Marsh is seeking a Project Manager to join Operations (Business & Client Services) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high quality business solutions in Agile context that deliver valued business outcomes and informed decisions. Build sustainable and repeatable capabilities that support delivery of the highest standards of service and execution. Research and monitor the external landscape to identify developments and translate them into operational implications for the company (e.g. regulations impacting business operations, documentation standards and change management methodologies).

We will count on you to:

  • Serve as the source of knowledge concerning business processes, best practices and documentation standards.
  • Lead workshops to identify problems, understand impact and help design global solutions.
  • Build and articulate frameworks and methodologies that can also be self-administered by local teams.
  • Manages  a project or workstream of  Medium to larger project end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project plan is detailed and fully planned to ensure the milestones are completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Adheres to the appropriate project governance structure, and manages all project stakeholders and project team members in the successful delivery of the project, including managing their tasks, project workload, and deadlines.
  • Ensures corrective actions on projects are taken when required. Holds teams and individuals accountable for meeting timelines and milestones
  • Tracks project status information and project artefacts at various stages of a project lifecycle and ensures we are tracking our costs against budget and on a monthly basis and forecasting to the completion of the project
  • Ensures all supporting documentation is in place for all approvals, decisions or deviations from scope to allow successful quality assessments and toll gate reviews.
  • Partner with local teams to understand nuances and enable adoption of global solutions.
  • Drive standardization of processes, operating model and user experience across business solutions.
  • Take accountability for designing solutions and obtaining buy-in.
  • Help communicate best practices and changes to stakeholders at middle management level

What you need to have: 

  • 10-15 years’ experience in leading projects across process improvement, digital or technology implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Capable of leading meetings with various cross-functional teams
  • Experience as team member in process blueprinting, digital transformation in global setup.
  • Experience in design/ implementation of automation solutions
  • Familiarity with Agile, Six Sigma and Lean principles preferred.
  • Insurance or Financial Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in business process modeling preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and cultures
  • MBA from a premier business school

Eligibility

  • Minimum 12 months experience as Senior Manager / Associate Director in the current role
  • Should have at least “On-Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal.
  • Should not be under any Performance Counselling Plan or had any official disciplinary action within the last 3 months.
  • Should not have applied for any other IJP in the last 3 months
