A Facility Executive oversees a building's operations, maintenance, and support services to ensure it's safe, functional, and efficient for its users. Key responsibilities include managing the physical infrastructure and building systems (like HVAC and security), ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, overseeing vendors and contractors, managing budgets and finances, and coordinating essential services such as cleaning, waste disposal, and catering. 

Key Responsibilities

Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, inspections of building systems & cleaning of the entire premises Coordinate with maintenance, cleaning, and security staff.  Manage waste disposal and recycling services.  Manage and renew service contracts with external vendors.  Negotiate with suppliers for materials and services to ensure cost-effectiveness.  Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and third-party service providers.  Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.  Conduct regular safety inspections and develop emergency response plans.  Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and facility operations.  Oversee the procurement of goods and services to achieve maximum value.  Maintain records related to the facility, including maintenance bills and payment information.  Plan for the future development of facilities in line with organizational strategic objectives.  Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the facility's environmental impact. 

Skills & Qualifications

• Management Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities. 
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to work with various stakeholders. 
• Business Acumen: Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets effectively. 
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to use IT packages for managing facility operations and data.
