Business Development Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, marketing campaigns, and proactive prospecting activities.
  • Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Engage senior decision-makers to understand business challenges, priorities, and solution requirements.
  • Qualify opportunities using established sales methodologies such as BANT.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual opportunity generation, meeting, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, opportunities, and activities within Salesforce CRM and Salesloft.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to support business growth objectives.
  • Support webinars, events, and industry conferences through prospect outreach and follow-up activities.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and management reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Lead Generation, or a related sales role.
  • Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Data & Analytics, Technology, SaaS, or B2B sales environments is advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Achievement of opportunity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Activity levels across calls, emails, LinkedIn engagement, and social outreach.
  • Data quality, CRM accuracy, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Contribution to team and regional business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Exposure to financial markets, market data, risk solutions, workflow platforms, or investment research solutions.
  • Experience working across APAC, ASEAN, or global markets would be advantageous.
