Business Development Manager - Cloud
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Cloud Business Development Manager to lead and grow cloud business through channel partners at Ingram Micro. The role will focus on driving Programs adoption, enabling and scaling partner-led sales, and achieving revenue growth across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in channel sales, distributor-led go-to-market models, and partner programs, with the ability to work closely with OEMs, ISV partners, resellers, and internal sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive AWS revenue growth through Ingram Micro’s channel ecosystem (resellers, SI partners, ISVs, MSPs)
- Own AWS business targets including pipeline creation, consumption growth, and program-led revenue
- Identify new partner opportunities and onboard high-potential AWS partners
AWS Programs & Partner Enablement
- Manage and operationalize AWS Partner Programs such as:
- AWS Marketplace
- AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP)
- AWS ISV Accelerate
- AWS Well-Architected Framework
- AWS Activate & POC Programs
- Enable partners on AWS programs, funding mechanisms, incentives, and GTM motions
- Conduct partner enablement sessions, webinars, workshops, and business reviews
Channel Sales & Go-To-Market
- Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to execute joint GTM strategies
- Support partners through the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Collaborate with PDMs and AWS account teams to align priorities and drive co-selling
Partner Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners
- Build strong executive and operational relationships with partner leadership
- Monitor partner performance and create action plans to drive growth and compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in IT distribution, cloud sales, or channel business development
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud offerings and AWS Partner Programs
- Proven track record in channel sales / indirect sales model, preferably within a distributor environment
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Networking, Security)
- Familiarity with cloud economics, consumption-based models, and marketplaces
- Ability to position AWS solutions against customer business needs
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong negotiation and partner-facing capabilities
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification
- Experience working with global distributors or hyperscaler alliances
- Exposure to cloud migrations, ISV solutions, or managed services
