We help our clients in identifying and managing the interplay between upside and downside risk in order to make the long-term decisions to prevent risk and impact on their organization's ability to meet its future business strategy and objectives. The 3 key fields of play are :
Enterprise Risk - helps clients identify and address key risk areas, while building the agility to respond quickly. The areas of focus include Enterprise risk and resilience, Internal audit, Compliance and Internal controls
Technology Risk - helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts to protect their business performance and by providing trusted communications on internal control and regulatory compliance to investors, management, regulators, customers and other stakeholders. EY teams accomplish this by assessing the technology risks that are introduced to businesses.
Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Senior QA Automation Engineer responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks and enhancing existing test automation solutions to support evolving business and technology needs. Leads QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality software delivery through well-structured, maintainable and efficient test automation practices. Drives quality standards, promotes best practices, and collaborates closely with development and product teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- Extensive experience as a QA Engineer specialising in Test Automation using C# programming language, delivering high-quality, scalable and maintainable automated testing solutions.
- Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira, actively contributing to sprint ceremonies and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven ability to design and build automation frameworks from scratch, covering API automation (RestSharp) and UI automation (Selenium / Playwright) using BDD practices with Reqnroll.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable automated test execution as part of continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Hands-on experience in Non-Functional Testing, ensuring system reliability, performance and stability.
- Strong experience in API testing, including building Postman collections and validating responses using JavaScript.
- Experience using application monitoring and observability tools such as Application Insights, Kibana or similar platforms to analyse system behaviour and support issue investigation.
- Skilled in developing End-to-End, Integration and Contract tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage across complex systems.
- Proficient in SQL, writing complex queries and performing data validation and data integration testing.
- Experience generating automated test reports and dashboards using tools such as Extent Reports and SpecFlow Living Documentation to provide clear quality insights to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring QA engineers, promoting automation best practices, and conducting code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Strong collaboration with Business Analysts and Developers to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and actively participate in Three Amigos sessions to ensure shared understanding and quality from the early stages of development.

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the following activities:
- Strong working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management within modern cloud environments.
- Experience testing and supporting applications built on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and Azure Web Applications.
- Solid understanding of event-driven and messaging architectures, with experience working with Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Hub.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including familiarity with solution lifecycle management, deployments, and environment management.
- Proficiency in working with applications developed using .NET (including .NET 10) within modern enterprise architectures.
- Experience in financial services in the private equity, infrastructure & real assets or private debt space.
- Exposure to Databricks platform, including working with data pipelines, analytics workflows, or testing data-driven applications within cloud-based data environments.
- Experience or familiarity with AI/ML-enabled systems, including developing or testing AI agents, and validating AI-driven features and workflows.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices for AI systems, using tools or frameworks that support AI model behaviour monitoring, performance validation, and reliability testing.
- Experience working with private markets or financial services platforms, such as eFront or similar private equity / investment management systems.
