The AWS Global Data Center Supply Solutions Team is looking for an experienced professional based in India (Mumbai). In this role, you will be a key member of the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team responsible for mitigating financial and contractual risks for our expanding portfolio in Asia Pacific, Japan and China region. Managers work closely with lessors/vendors and internal partner teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of our rent obligations while ensuring contractual compliance.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented and a strong communicator that can work independently in an extremely fast-paced environment with a high demand with a high degree of ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
• Financial Operations & Compliance: Review, audit, and process contract related payments and site invoices, ensuring alignment with internal policies, contractual terms, and compliance requirements.
• Contract Interpretation: Analyze complex commercial contractual language, ensuring accurate understanding of obligations and key payment milestones.
• Portfolio Data Management: Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and site-level data within portfolio management software, serving as a reliable source of truth for leadership decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across internal teams, driving alignment and delivering results through effective coordination and communication.
• Document & Contract Governance: Track and monitor all incoming documents and contracts (renewal/CPI/escalation/notice) to maintain compliance and operational continuity.
• Workflow Management: Oversee the team’s support request system, ensuring efficient triage and timely task assignment to meet service-level expectations.
• Strategic Administrative Support: Provide operational support to the Head of Portfolio Management and Regional Cost Manager, contributing to special projects and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of property management, asset management, portfolio management and/or real estate financial analysis experience
- Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
- Experience in processing rent charges and/or monthly rent rolls
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, commerce, finance or relevant discipline from an accredited university

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing internal stakeholder relationships and working successfully across organizations and different cultures to deliver results requiring collaboration and coordination with multiple teams
- Experience in commercial real estate or lease administration within an industrial, commercial, and/or data center environment
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience with end-to-end project management
- Experience utilizing commercial real estate software platforms such as Tango, Yardi, or MRI
- Experience reading and interpreting lease language, managing critical lease dates, and conducting lease negotiations
