The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to align database functionality with business requirements is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering an environment of reliability and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of database policies and standards to ensure consistency and security.
- Oversee database performance tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Platform.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation best practices.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to monitor and optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline database maintenance tasks.
- Understanding of data security principles and compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAS Platform.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
