As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient digitization of documents related to international trade finance transactions. You will operate scanning equipment, maintain document records, and ensure compliance with established protocols and service level agreements. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of documents with precision.
- Maintain inward and outward registers and scan import/export documents received from overseas banks (LC and Collections)
- Dispatch Documents Against Acceptance (DAN) and scan acceptances upon completion
- Scan export LC and collection documents and manage Goods Received waiver requests
- Maintain main stock and stationery for Bank Guarantee issuance
- Organize and prepare documents for digitization, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy
- Enter accurate indexing and taxonomy information into the system
- Operate efficiently scanning equipment, adjusting settings for resolution and file format
- Generate comprehensive reports on digitization activities and transaction numbers
- Prioritize work to adhere to SLAs and manage large volumes of documents effectively
- Maintain accurate records including tracking numbers and dates, ensuring strict confidentiality
- Address technical issues with scanning equipment promptly and establish cross-functional support processes
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Working knowledge of international trade finance documentation
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with operating systems and office software
- Ability to identify and correct errors during the digitization process
- Efficient categorization and proper indexation of digitized documents
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and other departments
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Adherence to established procedures, guidelines, and confidentiality standards
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in document management within a banking environment
- Background in banking or financial services
- Experience with scanning equipment and document management systems
- Familiarity with import/export documentation and letter of credit processes
- Experience generating reports and maintaining detailed transaction records
