Step into a high-impact leadership role shaping how cash operations are delivered across Asia. You will lead a multi-site organization spanning Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Manila, with accountability for performance, controls, resilience, and transformation. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across operations, technology, risk, compliance, human resources, and finance to deliver safe, consistent outcomes at scale. Your work will accelerate automation, simplify processes, and strengthen operational discipline.
Role overview
As an Asia Cash Operations Global Corporate Centre Lead in Payments Operations (Asia Cash Operations), you will own the strategy, operating model, governance, resilience, controls, transformation delivery, talent pipeline, and budget across our corporate centers in India and the Philippines supporting Asia cash operations. You will represent these centers in regional leadership forums and drive consistent execution aligned to payments operations priorities and standards. We are looking for a leader who can balance client outcomes, risk and controls, cost discipline, and change delivery—while building a high-performing, inclusive team. Travel between sites within the region is expected as business needs require.
Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cash operations delivery across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Manila, setting objectives, managing escalations, and ensuring service quality
- Set the multi-site operating rhythm, performance standards, and governance cadence, with clear ownership and decision discipline
- Strengthen the controls environment across all sites, including policy adherence, evidence standards, and audit readiness
- Own first-line risk and issue management, including identification, escalation, root-cause analysis, and sustainable closure of corrective actions
- Drive operational resilience and business continuity planning, including scenario testing, recovery procedures, and crisis response coordination
- Partner with technology and change teams to deliver process simplification, standardization, and automation that reduces manual touchpoints
- Align priorities and manage dependencies across operations, technology, risk and controls, compliance, human resources, and finance
- Optimize the location strategy by identifying opportunities to hub or de-hub work while maintaining resilient coverage
- Define capacity planning and workforce strategy across sites, including hiring plans, succession planning, and critical role coverage
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, delivering productivity improvements without compromising controls or client outcomes
- Represent the corporate centers in regional leadership forums, communicating performance, risks, trade-offs, and delivery plans clearly
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience in cash or treasury services operations
- Demonstrated senior leadership accountability for multi-site operations and senior leadership teams
- Proven experience leading service delivery organizations with strong controls, risk management, and regulatory readiness expectations
- Demonstrated experience running executive governance routines, performance management, and operational reporting at scale
- Demonstrated audit readiness discipline, including evidence management, controls ownership, and issue remediation
- Proven experience delivering transformation outcomes, including process redesign, automation enablement, and benefits tracking
- Demonstrated people leadership at scale, including building leadership benches, succession planning, and managing performance through change
- Proven ability to influence across a matrix environment with technology, risk and controls, compliance, human resources, and finance stakeholders
- Strong executive communication skills, including structured updates, decision documentation, and effective escalation
- Demonstrated financial acumen to own budgets, forecast demand, and manage cost promoters transparently while maintaining control standards
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree in business, finance, operations, technology, or a related discipline
- Formal certification in Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence, or a comparable process improvement methodology
- Experience supporting internal audit activities, regulatory exams, and enterprise operational resilience programs
- Experience driving automation using artificial intelligence and advanced analytics in operations environments
- Exposure to payments operations domains such as financial messaging processing, investigations, and sanctions screening
- Experience leading multi-country corporate center operating models and cross-site standardization initiatives
- Demonstrated experience building inclusive, high-engagement teams across cultures and locations
