Job Overview & Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional to lead Postpaid Acquisitions Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for driving sustainable growth through quality customer acquisitions, with a focus on both Retail and Digital channels. This role demands a self-driven, analytical thinker with a collaborative mindset to deliver impactful acquisition programs in a fast-paced, competitive environment. You will play a critical role in scaling digital acquisitions, improving the customer acquisition mix, and driving revenue growth.

 

 

Job Purpose:

As a Postpaid Acquisitions Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the acquisition business goals, designing and executing customer acquisition initiatives, optimizing marketing programs, and collaborating across cluster & corporate teams to ensure successful execution. The role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth in the acquisition process and shape the future of postpaid business.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Acquisition Planning & Implementation: Design the acquisition marketing plans by channel and consumer segment. The plans include Postpaid Acquisition programs across Retail and Digital channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Develop and implement market-specific acquisition calendars and GTM plans to drive acquisition performance and revenue growth.
  • Marketing Programs for Retail Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition through owned & alternate Retail channels by designing and implementing programs for MNP, Prepaid-2-Postpaid, High Value Plans and Family. Collaborate with clusters to develop and launch targeted initiatives to enhance Walk-ins, conversions and increase retail channel performance.
  • Scale Digital Acquisitions: Lead efforts to achieve hyperscale acquisition growth through digital channels. Continuously optimize digital strategies (full-funnel) and implement agile marketing initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency (Cost per Activation) in customer acquisition.
  • Grow Acquisition Quality and Customer Onboarding: Identify opportunities to improve the quality of new customer acquisitions and boost Acquisition ARPU. Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline the customer onboarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for new users.
  • Smart Campaigns for Sales: Design and manage campaigns for key revenue-generating initiatives, such as Premium Number, Pre2Post, and MNP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Retail) to ensure smooth implementation and impactful outcomes.

  • Gross Adds / Net Gross – Achievement vs. Target
  • Customer Acquisition Quality (ARPU, long-term value, customer profile)
  • Acquisition Mix (Pre2Post, MNP, Family)
  • Digital (Neo) and Retail (new Stores & existing) Channel Performance
  • Successful campaign execution and revenue growth

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • MBA with 10-14 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer acquisition, with a proven track record in driving successful acquisition programs
  • Expertise in digital marketing and retail acquisition strategies
  • Strong proficiency in using data and analytics to drive business decisions
