Head of Transactional Banking

Head – Transactional Banking Group| Mumbai

To lead and grow the Transaction Banking business by driving revenue from cash management, payments, trade services and digital banking solutions, while ensuring superior client experience, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Managerial Responsibilities

1. Define and execute the overall Transaction Banking strategy
2. Own P&L for TBG including Cash Management Services (CMS), Trade Finance, Payments, and Liquidity products
3. Drive revenue growth, fee income, and balance sheet optimization
4. Identify new business opportunities across corporate, SME, and institutional segments
5. Oversee product suite including:
   Cash management (collections, payments, virtual accounts)
   Trade finance (LCs, BGs, supply chain finance)
   Digital banking and payment solutions
   Drive product innovation, pricing strategy, and lifecycle management
   Enhance product competitiveness through digitalization and automation

 

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Drive digital adoption across transaction banking services
2. Lead implementation of platforms like APIs, host-to-host integration, fintech collaborations
3. Enhance straight-through processing (STP) and customer journeys
4. Promote innovation in payments ecosystem (UPI, real-time payments, etc.)
5. Define and execute the overall Transaction Banking strategy
6. Own P&L for TBG including Cash Management Services (CMS), Trade Finance, Payments, and Liquidity products
7. Drive revenue growth, fee income, and balance sheet optimization
8. Identify new business opportunities across corporate, SME, and institutional segments
9. Ensure efficient and error-free transaction processing
10. Define SLAs and improve turnaround times
11. Enhance service quality, client onboarding, and issue resolution
12. Drive automation and process optimization
