Job Description -

The role involves designing, developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s Information Security and Cyber Resilience Strategy. The position requires developing data security procedures and a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, including the use of forensic tools and establishing end-to-end processes for the detection, root cause analysis, and containment of cyberattacks.
The incumbent will ensure that the organization’s standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with industry best practices, information security standards, and overall cybersecurity objectives.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead and manage a team of security professionals by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Implement and enforce information security policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring organization-wide compliance.
• Continuously monitor for security incidents and vulnerabilities; promptly respond and mitigate identified risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security concerns and implement effective security solutions.
• Support and oversee compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide expert guidance on emerging security technologies, tools, and best practices to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
• Prepare, maintain, and present regular security reports, dashboards, and metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Information Security, preferably within scheduled commercial banks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent), BCA, MCA, or PGDGM.
• Proven expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and security technologies, with hands-on experience in Security Operations Centers (SOC) of financial institutions or banks.

Mandatory Certifications (minimum two required)

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
