Job Description
We are looking for a Manager – Strategic & Investment Research to lead high-impact research and strategy initiatives that support investment decisions and long-term business growth. This role requires driving strategic initiatives and collaborating across teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Investment Research Leadership
- Lead in-depth market, sector, and company-level research to support investment strategies and portfolio decisions.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop forward-looking insights on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors.
Advanced Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
- Drive interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data to identify risks, opportunities, and value creation levers.
- Translate / present analysis into executive-ready insights and narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Strategic and AI Initiatives:
- Develop and implement strategic projects aligned with business goals.
- Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled research solutions.
- Integrate AI and advanced analytics into investment research workflows to enhance decision-making speed and accuracy.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, investment teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead discussions and presentations with project leaders across line of businesses, articulating complex insights with clarity.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage strategic projects from conception to implementation.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, strategy, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in investment research, strategy, management consulting, or related domains.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills for executive audiences.
