Metal Trading & Sales

Location: Mumbai,Maharashtra,India

Role Objective
Build and scale a high-velocity trading book across aluminium (ingots, billets, wire rods) and copper (cathodes, wire rods), with a focus on fast capital rotations (3–7 days), strong industrial customer networks, and disciplined, risk-controlled execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and expand regional and pan-India customer base across extruders, cable, transformer, auto, electrical OEMs, and packaging sectors
• Execute import (LME-linked) and domestic arbitrage trades across aluminium and copper
• Maintain back-to-back or semi-covered positions with minimal open exposure
• Work on LME pricing, conversion spreads, and fixed-margin opportunities
• Structure low-risk, high-rotation deals with strong capital efficiency
• Ensure strict risk discipline with no speculative exposure; coordinate with centralized hedging where applicable
• Drive fast collections and tight working capital cycles
• Track LME trends, premiums, and metal demand cycles to identify trading opportunities

Ideal Candidate Profile
• 0–3 years of experience in non-ferrous / primary metals trading (freshers welcome)
• Exposure to aluminium, copper, or cable/electrical ecosystem is a plus
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Commercial mindset with high ownership and execution bias
• Hustler mindset with high ambition and willingness to work in a field-driven role
• Comfortable with extensive travel
