Job Description

Job Summary

Serves as the technical lead for complex building projects, ensuring design excellence, regulatory compliance, and adherence to AECOM standards and best practices.

Job Description

• Lead the electrical design delivery for complex building and infrastructure projects.
• Review and sign off on design basis reports, equipment selection, and technical schematics.
• Implement AECOM design standards and conduct technical peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentor and guide project teams, including leading BIM execution plans and coordination activities.
• Support early‑stage project development, including feasibility studies, concept design, and technical justification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree/M.Tech preferred).
• 9–12 years of progressive experience in electrical design, with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in system integration, electrical building services, and energy‑efficient design strategies.
• Proven ability in stakeholder engagement, coordination, and technical negotiation

Additional Information

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating with statutory authorities and supporting authority approvals.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct or participate in independent technical and peer design reviews.
