Your Key Responsibilities

Position: Key Account Manager (KAM) – OEM Sales

Department: Sales & Business Development

Location:  Bhopal / Indore (Area of Operation - Madhya Pradesh)

Reporting To: Regional Sales Head

Job Summary

The Key Account Manager (KAM) – OEM Sales is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the industrial sector. This role focuses on Off-road Vehicles, electric motors & Generators, Gearbox leveraging mechanical engineering expertise to deliver customer-centric solutions and achieve business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and grow strategic OEM accounts in target industries.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales strategies to meet revenue and margin objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with OEM customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
  • Prepare account reviews, forecasts, and sales performance reports.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems: Off-road Vehicles, electric motors & Generators, Gearbox
  • Proven ability to manage OEM accounts and B2B sales cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Your Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).
  • Experience: 5–8 years of sales/account management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years handling OEM accounts in Off-road Vehicles, electric motors & Generators, Gearbox
  • Experience from Cement Industry / Power Industry also works
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.

 Performance Metrics

  • Revenue growth from OEM accounts in target industries.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction levels.
  • Number of new projects/New customers/ contracts secured.
  • Contribution to market share expansion in Off-road Vehicles, electric motors & Generators, Gearbox
