Job Title: SAP Finance Techno-Functional D&A Lead 

Location: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Gurgaon (Preferred) 

Job Description: 
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Finance Techno-Functional D&A Lead to spearhead migration projects from SAP ECC to S/4HANA and SAP BW to SAP B/4HANA, ensuring alignment with evolving financial and business requirements. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Finance and Controlling processes, coupled with strong technical expertise in platforms like Google BigQuery, SAP BW, Tableau, and Power BI. This role involves evaluating cross-functional impacts, optimizing financial data models, reshaping internal reporting structures, and collaborating effectively between technical and business teams for seamless transitions.

Key Responsibilities: 

Finance Functional Leadership: 

• Lead end-to-end finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Controlling (CO). 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for post-migration financial data structures. 

SAP Techno-Functional Support: 

• Assess and document migration impacts of financial tables from SAP ECC to S/4HANA: 
•  Legacy Tables: Understand the transition of tables like BSEG, BKPF, BSID (Customer Open Items), BSIK (Vendor Open Items) to new Universal Journal Table ACDOCA used in S/4HANA. 
• -BW Data Migration: Review BW InfoObjects and DSOs associated with finance data, such as balance sheets, P&L statements, or cost center planning, and realign with SAP B/4HANA CDS-based analytics architecture. 
• -Asset Migration: Implement changes for tables like ANEA, ANEP, ANLC associated with fixed asset accounting, ensuring consistency in new structures. 

Testing & Validation: 

• Drive unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, validating transactional and operational data across finance-related reporting tables during migration. 
• Ensure solutions meet performance standards, scalability goals, and maintain data accuracy across new universal tables. 
• Leadership & Collaboration: 
• Liaise between Finance business units, technical teams, and SAP architects, D&A Architect to ensure smooth and transparent migration of data/reporting structures. 
• Proactively foresee impacts on dependent applications and financial dashboards, guiding teams through the change management process. 
• Demonstrate ownership and willingness to manage critical problem-solving tasks in high-pressure environments. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

Core Competencies: 

• SAP Technical/Functional: Help in SAP Technical, Functional flow, SAP data Modelling, SAP D&A Use cases 

SAP BW/BI Tables: 

• Pre-migration Info Objects for balance sheets, trial balances, taxation, etc. 
• Standard BW structures impacted by transition to SAP B/4HANA and realigned as CDS Views (e.g., BW queries for GL accounts or asset valuations). 
• SAP B/4HANA Updates: 
• Embedded analytics CDS replacing traditional reports for financial planning dashboards. Transition of BW transactional DSOs (FI reporting structures) to B/4HANA-compatible CDS Views. 

Technical Expertise: 

• Ability to analyze finance-specific functional specs and translate them into actionable technical tasks. 
• Leadership & Communication Skills: 
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams while functioning as the finance business subject matter expert. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling translation of complex finance data requirements into practical solutions for technical teams. 
• Demonstrates adaptability in managing competing priorities within project timelines. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or similar fields (Master’s preferred). 

Experience: 

• Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years implementing finance solutions in SAP systems. 
• Extensive background in SAP finance migrations (ECC to S/4HANA, BW to B/4HANA). (Preferred) 
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification (e.g., FI/CO module). 
• Certification in Analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google BigQuery.
