Senior Analyst - Storage Reporting
Main purpose
As a Reporting Analyst in the Storage team, you will play a crucial role in preparing decision making reports and analysis on storage performance, inventory levels and operational KPIs
Key responsibilities
- Storage Reporting and Data Analysis
- Software updates
- Develop data analytics routines using industry-standard tools to identify process or control gaps and cost optimization opportunities.
- Review the usage of the system and suggest enhancements to ensure continuous improvement and further automation.
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in Reporting & Data Analytics
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Shipping, Logistics or similar field
- Proficient in English both in spoken and written
- Basic understanding of market costs and economics
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make recommendations
- Someone who is organized, pays attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, looking after a range of high priority issues
- Basic Understanding of contract terms and logistics
- System oriented mentality- UATs understanding
- Experience in applying sophisticated data analytics techniques and in developing automation tools
- Ability to think outside of the box and identify solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness\
- Strong Excel capabilities, Analytics (QV, Tableau)

Department overview
The Storage Reporting Team is part of Trafigura's Global Operations function. The team manages and monitors the Group's storage locations worldwide, covering oil, refined metals, concentrates, and bulk commodities. The team is responsible for storage approvals, due diligence renewals, contract oversight, and monthly reporting
