The opportunity: Automation Tester

The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java-based automation frameworks, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality product releases.

Required Skills: Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.Perform API testing using tools such as Postman/Rest Assured or similar frameworks.Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and define test strategies.Execute automated regression tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Review system requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.Improve automation frameworks and ensure they are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.Provide detailed test reports and support troubleshooting of production issues.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess: Strong experience in Java programming for automation development. Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and related automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit). Solid experience in API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.Good understanding of automation best practices, design patterns (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, BDD/TDD).Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
