Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant – Infrastructure & Cloud to manage, implement, and support a hybrid environment spanning on-premise data centers and multi-cloud platforms (Redhat Openshift, Azure, GCP). The role requires strong hands-on expertise in server administration, virtualization, cloud operations, automation, security, and monitoring. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, compliance, and operational excellence across infrastructure landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and administer Linux and Windows servers, including patching, storage, and backup operations.

· Support and optimize virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V/OKE).

· Deploy, configure, and operate cloud resources across Redhat OpenShift/Azure/GCP (compute, storage, networking, IAM).

· Implement automation using Terraform/Ansible, and support basic CI/CD pipelines.

· Monitor system and cloud health, perform incident management, RCA, and ensure cost optimization.

· Ensure security compliance, implement guardrails, support DR readiness, and maintain infrastructure documentation.

· Collaborate with application, network, and security teams for issue resolution and smooth operations.

· Support migration activities including infra upgrades, cloud transitions, and platform modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 5–8 years of experience in Infrastructure and Cloud operations.

· Strong hands-on expertise with GCP/Azure and solid Linux administration experience.

· Working knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V/OKE).

· Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and ownership mindset.

· Good understanding of networking fundamentals: VPC/VNet, VPN, firewall, load balancing, routing.

· Scripting proficiency in Bash / Python / PowerShell.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

· Certifications: GCP/Azure Administrator/Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications.

· Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native concepts.

· Knowledge of Networking & IT infrastructure, enterprise backup tools, or advanced VMware capabilities.

· Experience with monitoring tools (Ops manager, Zabbix, Azure Monitor, ServieNow, etc.)
