Senior Financial Analyst, Prime Video India

Prime Video’s India Finance team is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting the SVOD and Marketplace (Rentals and 3P subscriptions) business. This role will partner closely with marketing team, customer lifecycle growth team and marketplace team. This critical role requires a self-starter with good financial modeling skills and attention to detail. This is an individual contributor role and will be based in Mumbai, India (BOM13).

Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
(1) Business partnering: Provide finance support during deal making process for the Marketplace business (rentals and 3P subscriptions), owning the financial analysis and objective decision making. Own financial analysis / models for new product and customer lifecycle initiatives.
(2) Planning and Reporting: Program manage planning mechanisms through the year (3-year forecast, Operating Plan, Quarterly Guidance) including liaising with partner teams like Prime and Worldwide / APAC FP&A team. Tracking KPIs and creating fact-books for both SVOD and Marketplace business, providing performance summaries / bridges for all xBRs.
(3) Maintain controller-ship over marketing budgets, drive projects to improve spend efficiency. Own month-end close activities for marketing and marketplace business.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
