Seeking an API Automation Tester with 3-5 years of experience in API testing and automation within the Insurance domain. The candidate should have expertise in REST/SOAP API validation, automation framework development, backend testing, and insurance processes across Motor and Health Insurance.Analyze business and technical requirements and define API testing scope.Design, develop, and execute automated API test scripts.Validate REST/SOAP services and perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.Verify request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and data integrity.Automate API test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.Log, track, and validate defects using JIRA/Azure DevOps.Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and automation metrics.Required Skills3-5 years of API Testing & Automation experience.Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Web Services.Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI.API Automation using Rest Assured, Java, TestNG/JUnit, Maven.Strong SQL/database validation skills.Experience with Git, GitHub/Bitbucket.CI/CD exposure using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.Good understanding of automation frameworks, Agile/Scrum, and coding standards.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Insurance Domain ExpertiseMotor Insurance: Quote Generation, Premium Calculation, Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Renewals, Claims Processing, Vehicle Inspection APIs.Health Insurance: Policy Administration, Member Enrollment, Pre-Authorization, Cashless & Reimbursement Claims, Provider Network Integration, Renewals, Policy Servicing.Preferred SkillsMicroservices Architecture.Contract Testing & Service Virtualization.Performance Testing (JMeter).Insurance Core Systems Integration Testing.OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Security Testing.Tools & TechnologiesAPI Testing: Postman, Swagger, SoapUIAutomation: Rest Assured, Java, TestNG, MavenDatabase: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQLJob role
