Title: Sr Specialist Integration Development
Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Integration Specialist to design, build, and support integrations across our SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, etc.). Successful Candidates will work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions, supporting our digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
Configure and manage API Management for secure exposure and consumption of APIs.
Leverage Integration Advisor, Open Connectors, and other Integration Suite capabilities as required.
Understand and apply best practices and development standards to daily support and project implementation activities in middleware solutions.
Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to tackle highly sophisticated business processes and procedural problems.
Manage and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standards
Maintain production systems reliability through accurate utilization of IT standards and governance processes
Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA
Ensure the accurate use of information technology project management methodology to follow governance practices
Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes
You should be able to understand the business problems and connect it with our IT capabilities to develop a solution for the same.
You should be able to understand the different integration points and should be able to provide the most feasible and scalable solution to our business issues.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self- training and research work and evaluate how / where it can make valuable contributions to the business
Collaborate with the business team & functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project.
Required Qualifications:
Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate with 6+ years of experience in SAP CPI or Integration Suite
Hands-on experience in Designing and Development of any Middleware Solutions.
Hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite, including:
Cloud Integration (CPI) – iFlows, adapters, mappings, scripts
API Management – API design, policies, security, monitoring
TPM Module - building and supporting B2B scenarios using TPM and the Integration Advisor.
Strong understanding of:
Integration patterns: sync/async, pub-sub, file-based, API-based, event-driven
Data formats & protocols: XML, JSON, CSV, IDoc, EDI, SOAP, REST, OData
Security: OAuth2, SAML, JWT, SSL/TLS, certificates, basic auth
Familiarity with SAP BTP (subaccounts, destinations, connectivity, users/roles).
Good knowledge of middleware concepts; experience with PI/PO or other ESBs is a plus.
Proactive, self-driven and having Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear, business-friendly way.
Experience working with cross-functional, global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with event-driven architecture (SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, etc.).
Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD for integration (transport, version control, automation).
Experience with S/4HANA transformation projects or large-scale SAP rollouts.
Exposure to security & compliance standards in the Integration world.
