Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Roles and Responsibilities

• Industry know how-
  •  Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Paints, NVH, Adhesives, Sealant etc.
  • Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, Design and cost drivers, M&M Business needs, Strategy Options, Strategy recommendations and approval
• Cost Management –
  • Knowledge of Paint, chemicals & NVH formulations and technical details about the same
  • Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
• Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
• Supplier Management -Onsite supplier assessments, identification of Gaps, action planning and monitoring
• Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit
• Legal knowledge is added advantage

B.Tech, Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree

 

General Experience

4 to 6 yrs experience

• In-depth knowledge of Sourcing
• Knowledge of Paint , NVH & Sealant supplier industry, mfg. processes
• Knowledge of Supplier base about auto ancillaries in India
• SOR study & technical analysis of SOR/PART/SYSTEMs
• Quote synthesis & Supplier selection
• Estimation as well as negotiation of part & tool cost (part, Dies & fixture)
• Analytical & Problem-solving skills
• Expert in SAP/MS office
• Commodity knowledge, Technology trends, Industry knowledge, Supplier base, Commercial knowledge, Environmental Analysis
