Credit Solutions EU (“CS EU”) undertakes transactions in Structured Credit Financing, Insurance Solutions and Financing and Liquid Asset Financing. The desk seeks to hire a strong candidate to work on a wide variety of trades including but not limited to fund financing, total return swaps, ABS/CLOs, etc. The role focuses on pre and post trade analysis, monitoring and risk management.

Role Description

The candidate will be responsible to provide support in single name and portfolio credit analysis and risk monitoring. The work includes:

• Fundamental credit analysis, cash-flow waterfall modeling for short or long term trades
• Valuation of single companies and larger portfolios
• Analyzing economic, industry, and company data and developing detailed financial models
• Providing ongoing risk management support, including risk analysis
• Scenario modelling for structured products
• Assisting in legal documentation and reviewing existing documents
• Monitoring & explaining margin requirements
• Liaising with other FO desks in the bank: ICG Sales, GCT Structuring, etc.

Role Description

Credit Solutions EU provides liquidity solutions for a variety of counterparties, including hedge funds, real and smart money, PE funds, banks and credit managers. The underlying collateral mainly consists of asset backed securities / portfolios, structured products, loans, liquid and illiquid covered bonds, corporate bonds across transactions that can be bilateral or triparty.

Your key responsibilities

The candidate will be involved in:

• Assisting in end-to-end execution of transactions, including pricing, modelling, approvals and legal documentation. 
• Conducting corporate credit analysis, building financial models, helping on documentation and internal approvals, and engaging with coverage and clients on origination. 
• Helping the desk in managing various risks (market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, etc.) 
• Modeling of new structured financing transactions and adapting existing models to new regulation / metrics. 
• Understanding legal covenants, termination triggers and other bespoke conditions for existing trades and providing inputs in documentation of new trades in order to capture risks appropriately. 

Your skills and experience

• Experience in financial modelling and fundamental analysis;
• Attention to detail;
• Understanding of bonds / loans / swaps;
• Understanding of fund financing (good to have)
• Desire to learn and curiosity about financial markets.
