Job SummaryThe Field Officer – Collections is responsible for recovering overdue loan payments, meeting customers in the field, negotiating repayment plans, and reducing delinquency while ensuring compliance with RBI and SBI collection guidelines. The role requires extensive field visits and customer interaction.

• Roles & ResponsibilitiesVisit customers with overdue loan accounts.
• Collect outstanding EMIs for personal loans, home loans, vehicle loans, credit cards, and other retail loans.
• Negotiate repayment plans and encourage timely payment.
• Update customer visit reports and collection status in the system.
• Trace customers who have changed address or contact details.
• Coordinate with branch officials and collection managers.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Achieve monthly recovery and collection targets.
• Required SkillsGood communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer handling and conflict resolution.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email).
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Time management and reporting skills.
• Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is often preferred.
• QualificationGraduate in any discipline (preferred).
• Freshers or candidates with 0–3 years of experience in collections, banking, NBFCs, or financial services.
