Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Construction Planning Team Member supports project planning by developing preliminary L3/L4 EPC schedules and tracking project progress through S-Curves and other visual tools. They ensure timely updates by preparing and maintaining progress reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and by utilizing the Progress Measurement System (PMS). The role involves providing performance insights through Target vs. Achieved statements and variance reports, resolving critical issues by reporting them to the Senior Planner, and documenting progress meetings with Minutes of Meeting (MOM). Additionally, they generate MIS reports for management, contribute to the project closeout report, and maintain the project database with lessons learned. They also coordinate with contractors for timely deliverables and support data collection and issue resolution by collaborating with various stakeholders.

Project Planning and Scheduling:
Assist in updating and maintaining EPC schedules at L2, L3, and L4 levels, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines.
Identification of critical path activities and lagging tasks. Supports Senior Engg. by conducting risk and delay analysis, and assist in proposing resolutions.
Contribute to the generation and management of S-Curves and various MIS reports, including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and 90-day look-ahead plans.
Help determine manpower and machinery requirements by planning work sequences for project activities in coordination with the team.
Monitoring and Control:
Assist in performing earned value analysis to track project performance, and support forecasting of future trends to ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
Support the execution of variance analysis by reviewing discipline-wise progress and help address discrepancies between planned and actual performance.
Aid in updating and maintaining the Risk Register and Change Log Register by documenting and supporting the management of changes and risks.
Collaborate in preparing and reviewing project closeout reports by consolidating project data, ensuring effective closure of project controls.
Resource and Procurement Management:
Facilitate timely resource allocation by assessing and supporting the approval process for manpower, machinery, and material needs, coordinating with the Planning Lead on execution strategies.
Assist in monitoring procurement and logistics to ensure material availability and timely delivery in line with project schedules.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to gather timely and accurate inputs, and assist in resolving issues impacting project schedules and deliverables.
Help compile and present management reports by collecting critical issues, project updates, and progress data for senior management meetings.
