Job Description
Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to handle the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, invoice processing, GST/TDS compliance, payroll coordination, vendor payments, and preparing financial reports for management review.
- Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting entries and bookkeeping in Tally/ERP.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Maintain bank statements and perform bank reconciliations.
- Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, and salary processing with HR.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
- Follow up on outstanding payments from clients.
- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, bills, and financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors and CA for audits and compliance.
- Support management with budgeting and expense tracking.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and updated.
- Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and GST filing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- QualificationB.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in construction/elevator/service industry is an added advantage.
