AI-First Marketing & Operations Lead

Role summary

• Own the entire AI-first marketing department for the company and founder brand.

• Lead all marketing functions using AI tools, GoHighLevel, and automation workflows, with accountability for leads, booked discovery calls, brand consistency, and revenue contribution.

• Work with the IT/configuration person on technical setup, while owning marketing strategy, execution, reporting, and optimization.

Core responsibilities

• Own company branding, positioning, messaging, and offer presentation across all digital channels.

• Build and manage the full marketing engine using AI tools for content, campaigns, and workflow automation.

• Own GoHighLevel setup and performance: funnels, pipelines, calendars, automations, CRM stages, reporting dashboards, email, SMS, and follow-up sequences.

• Manage AI agents and automations for content generation, campaign execution, lead nurture, qualification, and appointment booking workflows.

• Oversee email marketing, newsletter marketing, SMS marketing, and WhatsApp marketing from campaign planning through nurture and conversion.

• Own social media strategy, content calendars, posting, engagement workflows, and personal brand growth for the founder across relevant channels.

• Turn founder-created long-form content into short-form videos, posts, captions, and multi-channel campaigns using AI video and repurposing tools.

• Own organic lead generation programs, referral marketing initiatives, lead magnets, reactivation campaigns, and nurture. 

• Ensure all campaigns and AI-generated outputs stay on-brand, accurate, and aligned with company goals.

• Track and improve performance across leads, booked calls, show-up rates, conversion rates, content output, and campaign ROI.

• Document SOPs, workflows, AI prompts, and automation rules so the department is scalable and repeatable.

Day-to-day

• Review lead flow, pipeline movement, booked calls, and campaign performance inside GoHighLevel.

• Manage AI-generated content, video edits, newsletters, email campaigns, SMS, and WhatsApp sequences before launch.

• Publish and schedule content across company and founder channels using automated workflows.

• Optimize funnels, automations, follow-up logic, and conversion steps based on daily and weekly results.

• Coordinate with IT on integrations, technical issues, and system improvements while remaining the single owner of marketing outcomes.

Success metrics

• Increase qualified leads and booked discovery calls each month from marketing-driven channels.

• Increase percentage of marketing work handled by reliable AI and automation systems without loss of quality.

• Maintain consistent publishing and campaign execution across email, SMS, WhatsApp, social, newsletters, and video.

• Improve lead-to-call conversion, show-up rates, and channel-level ROI over time.

Requirements

• Strong marketing background with experience in growth marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing.

• Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM and automation platforms.

• Experience using AI tools for content creation, video repurposing, campaign automation, and analytics.

• Ability to lead a one-person AI-powered marketing department with full accountability for outcomes.

• Strong communication, organization, reporting, and execution skills.
