About the Role:

SRIRAMCHEM Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Junior Research Scientists to join our Synthesis R&D team. The selected candidates will be involved in chemical synthesis, reaction optimization, analytical testing, documentation, and literature research for research chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates, impurities, and custom synthesis projects.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for fresh postgraduates and early-career chemists to gain hands-on industrial R&D experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform organic and chemical synthesis as per project requirements.
• Execute laboratory experiments and optimize reaction conditions.
• Carry out purification techniques such as column chromatography, crystallization, and solvent extraction.
• Perform literature searches for synthetic routes and process improvements.
• Assist in analytical characterization using HPLC, GC, LC-MS, NMR, FTIR, UV, and other laboratory instruments.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and experimental records.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with project teams and report experimental progress.
• Support method development and process optimization activities.

Required Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry preferred)
• 0–2 years of industrial or research experience
• Freshers with strong practical laboratory skills are encouraged to apply

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of organic synthesis techniques
• Understanding of analytical instruments and characterization methods
• Good laboratory documentation practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to read and understand scientific literature
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a research-oriented environment
