Job Title: Commercial Executive– Pricing
Job Summary
The Commercial Executive – Pricing is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing pricing strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. This role works closely with sales, finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives and customer value propositions.

Key Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Governance
• Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with commercial and financial goals
• Own pricing frameworks, policies, and approval processes
• Ensure pricing consistency across channels, regions, and customer segments
Commercial & Financial Analysis
• Conduct margin, profitability, and cost-to-serve analysis
• Analyses pricing performance, discount effectiveness, and revenue leakage
• Build pricing models, scenarios, and forecasts to support decision-making
Sales & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with sales teams to support deal pricing, tenders, and contract negotiations
• Provide pricing guidance for key accounts and strategic customers
• Train and educate commercial teams on pricing tools, policies, and best practices
Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer behavior
• Assess price elasticity and value-based pricing opportunities
• Recommend adjustments based on market dynamics and customer insights
Systems & Process Improvement
• Manage pricing tools, systems, and data accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes and controls
• Support automation and digital pricing initiatives where applicable
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure pricing decisions comply with internal policies and legal requirements
• Identify and mitigate pricing and margin risks

Qualifications & Experience
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• MBA or professional certification is an advantage
Experience
• 1+ years of experience in pricing, commercial management, or revenue management
• Strong experience working with sales and finance teams
• Proven track record of driving margin and revenue improvements

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI or pricing tools preferred
