Job Summary
A Computer Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling computer systems, networks, and peripheral equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role involves data entry, system monitoring, troubleshooting basic technical issues, maintaining records, and ensuring the security and accuracy of information.
- Key Responsibilities : Monitor computer systems, servers, and network operations.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Operate and manage printers, scanners, and other computer peripherals.
- Execute scheduled system backups and recovery procedures.
- Identify and report hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain logs of system activities, errors, and operational incidents.
- Ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications as directed.
- Generate reports and provide operational support to various departments.
- Assist users with basic technical issues and troubleshooting.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
