As Deputy Manager - Machining within the Transmission Department at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., you will oversee the comprehensive mechanical maintenance of machine shops and engine assembly/test areas. This role involves leading a skilled team of workmen, ensuring timely troubleshooting, and maintaining uninterrupted operations of all equipment.

Your key deliverables include systematic analysis of equipment breakdowns and executing corrective maintenance to uphold optimal functionality. A critical part of your responsibility will be enforcing strict compliance with all safety regulations mandated by statutory bodies to maintain a safe working environment.

Driving the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices across the plant to foster operational excellence will be essential. You will manage and guarantee 100% adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, aimed at maximizing machine uptime and operational efficiency.

In addition, you will oversee spare parts planning for all equipment, ensuring availability aligns with maintenance requirements. You will play a pivotal role in cost reduction initiatives, driving innovative solutions, and leading automation projects that advance productivity and quality.
