Job Title: HR Manager - Regional Wellness Chain
Company Overview:
One of our clients, a rapidly growing wellness and healthcare brand operating multiple centers across Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead their regional human resource operations. Headquartered with a strong regional presence, the organization is committed to service excellence, employee engagement, and seamless branch administration.
Job Overview:
The HR Manager will hold overall responsibility for regional HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and branch administration across all center locations in Maharashtra. Operating from Nagpur, this role requires frequent travel to various branch locations to audit operations, resolve staff grievances, drive recruitment, and ensure policy alignment across all centers.
Key Role Details:
- Position Title: HR Manager (Regional Operations)
- Location: Nagpur (HQ / Regional Office) with periodic travel across branch locations in Maharashtra
- Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to various branch and center locations across Maharashtra
- Experience Range: 6 to 10+ years (Experience in multi-location service operations preferred)
- Education Qualification: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources / MSW / Master's in Personnel Management (MPM)
- Industry Background: Wellness, Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail, Services, or Multi-Location Operations preferred
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Branch HR Operations and Policy Governance:
1.1. Implement, standardize, and enforce corporate HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all current and upcoming branch locations in Maharashtra.
1.2. Conduct regular branch visits and audits to monitor floor operations, attendance discipline, staff presentation, and work environment quality.
1.3. Serve as the strategic bridge between corporate executive leadership and regional branch teams to ensure organizational alignment.
Regional Talent Acquisition and Manpower Planning:
2.1. Oversee end-to-end recruitment for branch managers, wellness specialists, therapists, technical staff, customer service representatives, and back-office teams across all locations.
2.2. Develop local sourcing networks and hiring pipelines in various Maharashtra cities to meet branch-level manpower requirements without operational delays.
2.3. Manage candidate onboarding, orientation, and initial training alignment for seamless staff integration at the center level.
Statutory Compliance, Payroll Input, and HR Admin:
3.1. Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws, Shop & Establishment Act, PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, and regional regulatory requirements across all branches.
3.2. Oversee monthly branch-wise attendance processing, leave management, overtime verification, and accurate payroll inputs.
3.3. Manage vendor contracts, facility admin, and local authority registrations across regional centers.
Employee Engagement, L&D, and Grievance Management:
4.1. Design and execute continuous training programs focusing on soft skills, customer service standards, and operational excellence for branch personnel.
4.2. Build employee engagement initiatives and retention programs to minimize attrition among skilled wellness and front-line staff.
4.3. Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions promptly during center visits to foster a fair and positive work culture.
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience managing end-to-end HR operations across multi-location or multi-branch service operations.
Flexibility and willingness for frequent regional travel across various cities in Maharashtra.
Strong working knowledge of Maharashtra labor laws, Shop & Establishment regulations, and statutory compliance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-centric service industry.
