Job Title: HR & Project Management Officer


Location: Nagpur

Experience: 2–5 Years (Flexible based on candidate profile)

Department: Human Resources & Operations

Reports To: Director / Management


Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR & Project Management Officer to oversee core HR operations while coordinating and monitoring multiple organizational projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong people management, administrative, and project coordination skills to ensure smooth business operations, timely project execution, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage attendance, leave records, payroll coordination, and HR MIS reporting.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and internal processes.
  • Address employee queries, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, KPI tracking, and employee performance reviews.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and learning & development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Project Management

  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor assigned projects from initiation through completion.
  • Prepare project plans, timelines, task assignments, and resource allocation schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones, KPIs, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to management.
  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, meeting minutes, and status reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support operational excellence initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, administration, and project coordination.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HR/project management tools.
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a process-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with HRMS and project management software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in KPI tracking and performance management systems.
  • PMP, CAPM, SHRM, or HR-related certifications are an added advantage.
