Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Supply Chain Management professional with strong expertise in logistics operations, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation planning, procurement coordination, and LPG terminal operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical, coordination, vendor management, and operational planning skills to ensure smooth and cost-effective supply chain functions across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Logistics Management

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing, procurement coordination, and inventory control. 

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation costs and improve operational efficiency. 

• Plan and monitor dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of products across multiple locations. 

• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, plants, warehouses, and customers for uninterrupted operations. 

• Handle fleet utilization, route planning, and transportation scheduling for bulk and packaged goods. 

Procurement & Inventory Management

• Coordinate procurement activities based on consumption patterns and stock requirements. 

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability without excess inventory. 

• Conduct stock verification, inventory reconciliation, ABC analysis, and perpetual inventory management. 

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock and procurement reports. 

• Identify and resolve shortages, excess inventory, and non-moving stock issues. 

Warehouse & Stores Operations

• Supervise warehouse operations including material receipt, storage, stacking, dispatch, and documentation. 

• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials with proper identification and compliance standards. 

• Improve warehouse utilization and operational productivity through process optimization. 

• Maintain proper documentation for audits, dispatches, invoices, packing lists, and stock transfers. 

Transportation & Vendor Management

• Negotiate transportation contracts and freight rates with logistics service providers. 

• Monitor tanker/fleet movement and ensure timely dispatches. 

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer delivery timelines. 

• Resolve transportation-related issues and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards. 

LPG Terminal & Bulk Operations

• Monitor LPG import/export terminal operations and coordinate with port authorities. 

• Handle bulk LPG procurement, dispatch planning, and tanker deployment. 

• Coordinate customs clearance, vessel discharge operations, and loading activities. 

• Ensure uninterrupted supply to bottling plants and industrial clients. 

Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliance with safety policies, statutory regulations, ISO standards, and audit requirements. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. 

• Prepare operational MIS reports and performance analysis for management review. 

• Lead and develop operational teams for achieving organizational objectives.
