Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Customer Education: Engage with prospective clients to provide essential information about the advantages of solar energy. Address inquiries and highlight the positive impact of solar energy on cost savings and the environment.
Site Evaluation: Collaborate with clients and experienced team members to evaluate the potential of solar installations on rooftops and other suitable areas. Assist in analyzing factors such as roof orientation, shading, and structural integrity to determine optimal solar solutions.
Site Survey and Analysis: To conduct comprehensive on-site surveys to gather accurate measurements, data, and visual insights required for effective solar installation planning. Work alongside experienced colleagues and utilize specialized tools and equipment.
Solution Customization: Support senior team members in developing tailored solar energy proposals that align with customer energy needs, budget constraints, and site-specific requirements.
Financial Consultation: Assist in providing basic financial analyses, including ROI calculations and payback periods, to help clients make informed decisions about solar investment.
Sales Strategy: Contribute to executing strategic sales plans, gaining exposure to identifying key decision-makers, building relationships, and conveying the value proposition of our solar installation and financing platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, learning from experienced professionals in engineering, operations, and finance to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the solar energy sector. Learn to leverage this knowledge to enhance customer engagement and improve our offerings.
Documentation and Reporting: Assist in maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, site evaluations, and sales activities under the guidance of senior team members.
Customer Relationship Management: Support efforts to build and nurture long-term client relationships by providing post-sales support, addressing inquiries, and facilitating basic system maintenance.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma or Bachelors in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field. With a keen interest in renewable energy.
- Passion for sustainable energy solutions and eagerness to learn about solar energy concepts, system components, and installation processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information.
- Willingness to learn and assist in conducting on-site assessments, measurements, and surveys.
- Interest in financial analysis and a basic understanding of ROI calculations.
- Goal-oriented mindset and a desire to contribute to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Problem-solving abilities and an eagerness to learn from experienced team members.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in Marathi is a mandatory requirement.
- Valid driver's license, a 2-wheeler (with helmet), and willingness to travel for on-site assessments and client meetings.
