Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of accounting and finance while gaining hands-on exposure to business operations. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, highly organized, and capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally.
• Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately.
• Pass journal, payment, receipt, and contra entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process vendor invoices and customer payments.
• Prepare GST working papers and assist with statutory compliance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, vendors, and consultants.
• Maintain accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll inputs and other finance-related administrative activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of financial documents.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ownership.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of payroll processing and compliance.
