Job Description
Business Development Manager – IT & Telecom
Location: Mumbai (Field & Office Based)
About the CompanyWe are a leading IT and Telecom Solutions company providing end-to-end technology solutions to businesses. Our services include IT infrastructure, servers, networking, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, internet leased lines, SIP/PRI, SD-WAN, managed IT services, and annual maintenance contracts (AMC).
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the IT and Telecom sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.
- Promote and sell IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, managed IT services, and telecom solutions.
- Meet clients, understand their requirements, and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with technical and pre-sales teams for solution design and project execution.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and update the CRM regularly.
- Follow up on leads, renewals, and existing customer opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT & Telecom sales or business development.
- Experience selling products such as Servers, Storage, Networking, Firewalls, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Cloud Services, Internet Leased Lines, SIP/PRI, SD-WAN, CCTV, or Managed IT Services.
- Strong B2B sales and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Good knowledge of preparing proposals and handling enterprise customers.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates from the IT System Integrator (SI), IT Infrastructure, Telecom, ISP, Cloud, or Managed Services industry.
- Existing corporate client network will be an added advantage.
- Must have a two-wheeler or four-wheeler and be willing to travel for client meetings.
