Civil Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Scheduling:

• Prepare detailed project execution plans and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with planning and procurement teams to ensure material and resource availability.
• Forecast manpower and equipment requirements and monitor utilization.

2. Site Execution:

• Supervise daily construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams for smooth execution.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures.

3. Client Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients at the site level.
• Conduct site meetings, resolve technical queries, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and address any client concerns promptly.

4. Billing & Documentation:

• Prepare and verify client RA (Running Account) bills, subcontractor bills, and material reconciliation statements.
• Coordinate with quantity surveyors and accounts team for certification and invoicing.
• Maintain all site-related documentation, including drawings, site instructions, and work logs.

5. Contract Closure & Handover:

• Ensure completion of punch-list items and snag rectifications.
• Support final inspection and handover processes to clients.
• Assist in the preparation of final billing, documentation, and contract closure reports.

Key Requirements:

• Skills:
• Strong project planning and site management capabilities
• Good understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and billing procedures
• Effective communication and client-handling skills
• Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards at construction sites
